Awadh al Ketbi Chairman
Awadh is President of AKC consultancy.
He spent the majority of his 20 years career in executive operations with DTCM (Dubai Tourism and commerce marketing), starting from Manager Missions (delegations) and Events, then Executive Director Dubai Convention Bureau to Executive Director Heritage Sites and Events.
Among his many contributions and awards Awadh gained a remarkable and exceptional experience into the tourism and hospitality sector into the GCC and was voted to represent Middle East and Africa as a Board Member on the Board of Directors in International Congress and Convention Association.
He also represented Dubai Convention Bureau on Best Cities Board of Directors.
He also was a member of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) and Dubai Summer (DSS) Surprises organizing Committee and started the first summer official destination package with about 80 hotels participating.
Gamal Sadek General Manager
Gamal is an 11 years hotel industry veteran. He has proven expertise in leading successful executive teams, negotiating and Supervising Management/consulting contracts and delivering expected profits to the bottom line He started at the Ritz Carlton in Egypt, from which he moved over into the sales and Marketing array with starwood's in UAE for 5 years, followed by 3 years heading the sales and marketing activities for luxurious hospitality property in Dubai.He studied in France, followed by attaining his bachelor Degree in Hospitality and tourism Management from the Glion Hotel University in Switzerland and the International Tourism Management Degree from the Wales University in UK.
